We will be hosting a series of ‘kick off’ events around the UK in autumn 2019. Locations include Newcastle, Swansea and Belfast, amongst others.
The purpose of these events will be to:
- Share more details of our upcoming funding calls and what support will be available to help with proposal development.
- Facilitate discussions around possible collaborations and projects to address our Emerging Minds research challenges.
Funding for research
The Emerging Minds Network has a fund of £500,000 to share to enable research collaborations across sectors and disciplines.
We will be running a series of funding calls and inviting proposals that address one or more of the research challenges, as identified by key stakeholders. The first funding calls will be opening in autummn 2019.
Early career researchers
We want to include early career researchers in activities and opportunities across the network.
We are currently planning out how to do this and exploring ideas for our early career researchers programme. This work is being led by members of our leadership team and advisory group: Dr Caroline Jay, Dr Rachel Hiller and Dr Faraz Mughal.
Please do contact us to share your ideas or if you are an early career researcher who’d like to get involved with Emerging Minds.
