We held a series of webinars and workshops during early 2020 to support people in developing their proposals for our Funding Call.

The purpose of these events was to:

  • Share more details about the type of proposals which are likely to be successful and to offer support with proposal development.
  • Facilitate discussions around possible collaborations and projects to address our Emerging Minds research challenges.

For more details of what occurred, please see here.

Since then, we have been running a series of interactive webinars to support our stakeholders during the global pandemic. These have subsequently been available to listen to as part of our podcast series.

Funding for research

The Emerging Minds Network has a fund of £500,000 to share to enable research collaborations across sectors and disciplines.

We will be running a series of funding calls and inviting proposals that address one or more of the research challenges, as identified by key stakeholders.  The deadline for the first funding call was 21 February 2020.

Early career researchers

We want to include early career researchers in activities and opportunities across the network. This work is being led by members of our leadership team and advisory group: Dr Caroline Jay, Dr Rachel Hiller and Dr Faraz Mughal.

We have hosted workshops to support early career researchers and are organising several cross-sector placements.

Please do contact us to share your ideas or if you are an early career researcher who’d like to get involved with Emerging Minds.
