Being Seen and Heard: Identifying the research priorities for children affected by parental mental illness

2.9 million children in the UK have a parent with mental illness.

These children are often invisible, and rarely asked about their experiences, opinions and needs.

Our SIRG aims to raise awareness of the impact of mental illness on children. By bringing together the views and experiences of families and professionals working with children and adults we will develop shared research priorities for families affected by parental mental illness.
